Q: How does Tatt2Away work?
A: Tatt2Away involves a revolutionary new treatment called Trans Epidermal Pigment Release ( TEPR) After light abrasion of the skin, a safe proprietary fluid is injected into the tattoo pigment. The fluid breaks down the ink pigment and the scab forms over the treated area. When the scab falls away, the pigment comes with it leaving clear pink skin to heal.
Q: What kind of tattoo can be removed?
A: All kinds of tattoos can be removed, including whole tattoos, parts of a tattoo. Clearing the area for replacement artwork, disguising a previous solid cover – up, or getting rid of that tattoo regret forever. Tatt2Away REMOVES ALL INK COLOURS. It is effective on most skin types, and is quick, safe, affordable and the pain compares to the same pain as when you had your tattoo tattooed on.
Q: How is it different from Laser?
A: The Tatt2Away treatment removes ALL COLOURS ( it’s colour blind ) unlike laser. It requires much fewer treatments than laser and is by far less painful than laser. It is also cheaper than laser due to the reduced number of treatments required usually can be from 1 to 6 treatments compared to laser with usually 10 or more treatments and you will still have ink residue seen in the skin.
Q: How many treatments will I need?
A: You technician at your 45 min consult will give you an indication of how many treatments that may be required. Generally an average sized tattoo ( 12.5cm x 12.5cm ) requires between 4 – 5 treatments at 3 mth intervals. This depends on a number of factors, including skin type, age of the tattoo, amount of pigment, the location of the tattoo, and the history of other attempts to remove the tattoo ( i.e.laser )
Q: How long will it take to remove that tattoo?
A: Each treatment session last from 30 to 45 mins. A 12 week period or more is necessary between treatments to allow the skin time to heal.
Q: Does it hurt?
A: Most clients have said it’s not anywhere near as painful as getting the original tattoo on, but everybody is different. Some clients find it merely annoying, or experience an occasional jab of pain. Generally closer to the bone, the more sensitive it will be.
